BREAKING: Court of Appeal rules that 377A arguably violates the Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause

The Court of Appeal set the parameters for the challenge to section 377A on the grounds that it violates the Article 12, the equality protection clause of the Singapore Constitution. The Court of Appeal overruled the High Court and ruled that Tan Eng Hoon, represented by M. Ravi, had the requisite standing  or locus standi to pursue his claim that Section 377A was unconstitutional.
